Colour: Pale pink with silvery tints and lovely brilliancy.

Nose: Notes of tangy red fruit and strongly-marked minerality. Freshness comes through on the nose with a chalky note and wild strawberry and smoky notes complete the bouquet.

Palate:Lively attack and full on the palate, the wine reveals both richness and purity. There are small red berries and citrus fruit on the palate, particularly grapefruit and zests. Grilled notes from barrel ageing appear on the finish and lead to a good mouthfeel.
